For the past few weeks, our islands, our state and our nation have been tuned in to Mau’i and the Island of Hawai’i, witnessing the devasting fires that have taken too much from too many. Our deepest sympathies go out to the many ohanas who have suffered unimaginable loss from the catastrophic wildfires.
Feed The Hunger Fund mourns now, with all those who have been impacted. We commit to being there in the longer term, whether it be three months, six months, or years from now as the full effect of this crisis unfolds. For we know that in the long run, those who have the least, will suffer the greatest.
There is so much to be done, and so much that CAN be done for our ohanas on Mau’i.
Feed The Hunger Fund will be making grants to small businesses and small scale entrepreneurs recovering from this disaster and who are challenged by supply chain disruptions. Together, we can build back stronger than ever.
If you or someone you know is a Maui small business owner, we want to hear from you! For more information please contact: email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
