E Hoʻokahua, E Hoʻomau. Build the Foundation, Succeed & Thrive

Feed the Hunger Fund’s (FTHF) initiative, E Hoʻokahua, E Hoʻomau, aims to integrate cultural perspectives into the Technical Assistance program, fostering a more inclusive and effective learning environment that honors participants’ diverse backgrounds and experiences. This initiative focuses on building a solid foundation through various aspects, including finances, marketing strategies, goal setting, networking, and more.

The E Hoʻokahua, E Hoʻomau program is an 9-week program conducted by FTHF staff and industry leaders. The design of this program is alternating learning sessions and peer to peer mentoring to include proposal building with the goal of creating a completed loan package to present to FTHF loan committee members. The objective of this program is to increase the understanding and comfortability of small businesses in financial literacy that is in alignment with their business goals.
