In 2021 due to threats against her and her livelihood and safety, Bushra Hussein was forced to leave her home country of Iraq. Leaving behind all she knew and everything she had, including her restaurant businesses, she sought refuge in the United States. With assistance from a loan provided by Feed The Hunger Fund, today Bushra is the proud business owner of her catering company, BushBush Catering in which she cooks and serves Iraqi food for small and large events. “I felt the Feed The Hunger Fund supported me.
