Our unique food-focused loan program infuses capital and business expertise into communities without access to traditional financing options.
Feed the Hunger Foundation works with businesses at all points on the food security spectrum: soil mitigation, farming, distribution and retail sales. All of our partners fall outside the traditional banking system and are adding value to their community's food system. Our work is focused on underserved and low-resourced communities.
Our three-tiered approach: supplying business development, connections with on-the-ground resources, and microfinance, has proven results in simultaneously promoting food security and economic vitality.

FTHF was founded on the premise that social and food justice are intertwined realities. Ironically, the very farmers and food vendors that grow and distribute their community's food are also the most likely to experience food insecurity and poverty themselves.
Your generous donations are critical to FTHF's mission and successful investment model. Your financial support allows us to invest in people that have faced economic and social barriers to rise out of poverty.
A woman in California dreams of one day being able to feed her children the cantaloupe she picks daily and is unable to afford. A woman in Hawaii dreams of owning a small aquaponic farm which will provide fish to sell, vegetables to eat, and taro that nourishes her body and respects her culture. A woman in inner Mongolia dreams of being the first in her village to send her children to school. A man in Liberia who was once a disabled beggar, dreams of completing his computer classes and attending the university, and a woman in Liberia dreams of opening a glass bead business and training former sex workers to manufacture the beads.
Feed The Hunger Foundation exists to help these dreams come true and to help others dare to dream.Donate
